He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Bennett and Betty Jo Bennett (Simmons); his brother Gary Bennett; and his son-in-law Christopher Ryan Cantrell. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Bennett (Tscherne); his children, Kevin Lee Bennett, II (Monica), Kole Mitchell Bennett, Katie Marie Cantrell and Kristen Lynn Bennett; his brother Mark Bennett; and his grandchildren, Annabeth Jo Cantrell and Eleanor Grace Bennett.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 9th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newman Funeral Homes (1100 Memorial Dr, Oakland, MD 21550). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
