He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mercedes Briggs and Fred Briggs of McKeesport, PA.; his children, Thomas Briggs (Margaret) and Kerri Hajkowski (Thomas); his former wife Sharon Turnbull; his siblings, Fred Briggs (June), Anne Briggs and Mary Beth Lemak (Thomas); and his grandchildren, Thomas Hajkowski, Alexander Hajkowski, Luke Hajkowski, Michael Hajkowski and Mary Wynne Briggs. He was also cherished by his son and daughter, his grandsons and granddaughter, his brother, sisters, and in-laws, his nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, his many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Oak Cremation & Mortuary Services, Inc. (1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Angela Merici Church (2701 Kelly St, White Oak, PA 15131).
