We bid farewell to William Murray of McHenry, Maryland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 19, 2025 at the age of 87. William touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Murray and Eleanor Erwin (Willet). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Murray (Close); his children, William "Billy" Murray of McHenry, MD and Shelly Johnson (Dave) of Sneads Ferry, NC; his grandson Keith Johnson (Lauren) of Murrells Inlet, SC; and his brothers, Thomas, James (Beth) and Stony (Donna). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
