She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Price and Florence Price; her daughter Theresa McVerry; and her siblings, Ed Price, Harold Price, Bob Price, Dorothy Price, June Haw, Dora Barrett and Shirley Hollidge.
She is survived by: her husband James M. McVerry; and her daughter Diane Maddox of Mechanicsville, MD. She is also survived by four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A burial was held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 12:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Queen of Peace Cemetery (38888 Dr Johnson Rd, Mechanicsville, MD 20659). Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A prayer was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
