In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mabel Dean Owens and William James Owens; and his siblings, James "Duffy" Owens and Marjorie L. Owens. He is survived by: his spouse Aloisia Owens; and his children, Susan Ann Owens of Mechanicsville, MD, William James Owens II (Leighann Ellen) of Mechanicsville, MD and Cassandra M. Johnson of Woodstock, VA. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Mattingley-Gardiner Funeral Home (41590 Fenwick St, Leonardtown, MD 20650). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
