It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jean Cogar of Middle River, Maryland, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Jean Cogar to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her spouse Garnet Cogar; her son Eugene Cogar; her parents, Garber Bright and Evelyn Bright; and her sisters, Edith, Dorothy, Wanda, Carole, Helen and Eleanor.

She is survived by : her sons, David Cogar (Jackie Cogar) and Steve Cogar (Jean Cogar). She is also survived by four grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
