He was predeceased by: his wife Janet Hitt; his parents, Mary Hitt and Arlie Hitt; and his brother Roger Hitt. He is survived by: his siblings, June Frank (Bob), Randy Hitt (Sharon), Berry Hitt (Doris), Garry Hitt, Jeff Hitt (Kim) and Shirley Slebodnick (Larry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other loving family members and friends.
