She was predeceased by: her parents, George Balles and Mary Irma Balles. She is survived by: her husband LeRoy F. Mattheu; and her siblings, Lee Balles and Lynn Lewis.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 23rd 2025 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home (1407 Old Eastern Ave, Essex, MD 21221). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (10003 Bird River Rd, Middle River, MD 21220).
