She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Linton, Sr. and Gloria G. Linton (Rice) of Frederick County, Maryland.. She is survived by: her husband John S. Shafer of Middletown, Maryland; her children, Kelly Hooper (Joshua) of Greencastle, Bryant Shafer (Angela) of Myersville and Jack Shafer of Middletown, Maryland; her grandchildren, Olivia, Henry, Emmalyn, Nathan Hooper, Kathryn and Carter Shafer; and her brothers, Kenneth Linton, Jr. and Rodney Linton. She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
