It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clyde Martin Grove of Middletown, Maryland, born in Clear Spring, Maryland, who passed away on August 28, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Lewis Grove and Hanna Grove (Shank); his wife Shirley Elizabeth Grove (Sprankle); his sons, Michael and Gregory Grove; and his brothers, John, Daniel, Roger and Ernest "Hub" Grove.
He is survived by: his sons, Darrell Grove (Shawn) of Hagerstown and Karl Grove (Linda) of Middletown; his sister Faye Shank (Charles "Bud") of Hagerstown; his grandchildren, Scott, Lindsey, Elizabeth, Troy and Jarrett; and his great grandchildren, Pacey, Addie, Cadence, Palmer and Freddie. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
