He was predeceased by : his parents, Paul Edward and Lottie Catherine Shank (Grossnickle); and his sister Rheta S. McCutcheon (Bill). He is survived by : his wife Lois Elaine Shank (Hildebrand); his children, Jerry E. Shank (Teresa) and Ronald E. Shank (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Catherine Murphy (Paul), Janelle Shank, Tara Plowman (Melissa), J. Chase Edwards (Alicia), Tiffany Rice, Brooke Shank (Dan) and Taylor Shank (Austin); his great grandchildren, Paisley, Violet, Mason, Lane and Ella; and his sisters, Jane Buhard of Niceville, FL and Marianna Bere (Bill) of Wolfsville, MD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
