He was predeceased by: his parents, Yoichi Takata and Mifu Takata; and his spouse Kim Sachiko Takata. He is survived by: his siblings, Isamu Takata and Miyoko Fukumoto; his daughter Diana Takata; and his son-in-law Don Thompson. He is also survived by other loving family members in California, his church family.
