It is with sadness that the passing of Travis Kady of Middletown, Maryland is shared. Travis, born on April 20, 1943, passed away on September 14, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Travis Kady to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Zeiler and Johanna Zeiler; her daughter Pamela Gurtis (Edward) of Kingston; her significant other Tom; and her sister Johanna Chipley (Robert).
She is survived by: her children, Noah Kady (Nancy) of Myersville, Nicholas Kady (Colleen) of Redding, Conn. and Angela Buckler (Patrick) of Middletown; her grandchildren, Nathan Gurtis, Kady Pineda-O'Donnell, Spencer Buckler, Jake Gurtis, Margaret Kady, Aiken Buckler, Erin Kady, Logan Kady, Desmond Kady and Cassius Kady; and her siblings, Iva Lucas (late Ray), Deborah Yee (John) and Dean Zeiler (Jeanna). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and in-laws.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Thompson-Harman Funeral Home (31 E Main St, Middletown, MD 21769). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. John the Evangelist Roman Catholic Church (118 E 2nd St, Frederick, MD 21701). A burial will be held on Monday, September 21st 2026 at the Christ Reformed Cemetery (12 S Church St, Middletown, MD 21769).
