He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Franklin and Nellie Rhoda Brandenburg (Cline); his son David Wayne Brandenburg; and his sister Maxine Younkins. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Angelberger Brandenburg of Middletown; his son Byan Eugene Brandenburg (Keri) of Mt. Storm, WV; his grandchildren, Ella and Jackson Brandenburg of Mt. Storm, WV; and his sister Gloria Brandenburg of Maugansville. He is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Thompson Harman Funeral Home (31 E Main St, Middletown, MD 21769). A funeral service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Christ Reformed United Church of Christ (12 S Church St, Middletown, MD 21769).
