He is survived by: his wife Nellie Clarke (Boettcher); his children, Roberta M. Clarke of Cumberland and Robert Marshall Clarke, Jr. (Sherry) of New Market; his grandsons, Robert Marshall Clarke, III and John Carl Clarke; and his sisters, Carol Sue Martin (Eugene) and Linda Kay Brown (Clarke). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
