Sharon Ann Stakem Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 22, 2022, at the age of 71, Sharon Ann Stakem of Midlothian, Maryland, born in Frostburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Estella Hersick (Robertson) and John Hersick; her grandson Lucas Stakem; and her brother-in-law Charles "Chas" Green. She is survived by: her husband Patrick William Stakem; her sons, Keith Stakem (Krista) of Grantsville and Jason Stakem (Jill) of Frostburg; her grandchildren, Ashlyn Stakem, Carder Stakem of Grantsville, Sidney Kiser of Berlin, MD, Zoe Stakem, Charlie Elizabeth Stakem and Billie Estelle Stakem of Frostburg; and her sister Donna Green of Manassas, VA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Not ready to totally retire, she worked at Frostburg Nursing and Rehab Center as Assistant Activity Director in the Alzheimer's unit, and finally at St. Joseph Church office for 8 years and then fully retired in 2012.
