With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Wade of Millersville, Maryland, who passed away on January 9, 2024 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Shives and Artenius Hornbaker Shives; and her daughter Leslie E. Wade. She is survived by : her husband Russell Calvin Wade of Millersville; her daughters, Kelly D. Porter (Jeff) of Millersville and Amy B. Dunn (Michael) of Pasadena; her brother William Shives of Glen Burnie; and her grandchildren, Kaitlin N., Joseph J. Digiacinto, Brendan W., Garrett A, Collin J., Matthew T. Dunn, Garrett and Addison Collins.

Memorial Contributions to Glen Burnie United Methodist Church or the American Lung Association in Mrs. Wade's name will be appreciated by the family.
