She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Leager and Ethel Holden; her husband Homer Hay; and her siblings, Ethel Shorts, Betty Ervin, Julia Marshall, Helen Whaley, Paul Leager, Earl Leager, Brice Leager, Clifton Leager, Charles Leager, Mary Glanding and Annie Leager.

She is survived by: her sister Doris Shelts. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
