He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Szalay (Comba). He is survived by: his daughter Donna Schoettker; his son-in-law Eric Schoettker; his son Martin Szalay; and his daughter-in-law Cheryl Szalay. He is also survived by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews.
