She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hood and Olive Hood of Damascus, Maryland.; her husband Charles A. "Buddy" Burke; and her brother Louis "Sonny" Hood. She is survived by: her children, Sandy Burke of Monrovia and John Burke (Tanya) of Monrovia; her granddaughter Lauren Burke (Joseph Ingegneri); her great grandchildren, Jaidyn, Joseph Ingegneri of Monrovia, Emmalee Terry of Westminster, Corinne Thompson (Michael Thompson), Alaina, Burke Thompson of Monrovia, Jessica Geisler (Garrett Geisler) and Eleanor of Libertytown; and her brother Robert Hood (Margo) of Frederick.
