It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin Jackson (Montgomery Village, Maryland), born in Potomac, Maryland, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonzo Jackson and Martha Jackson; his wife LaVerne Jackson of Laytonsville, Maryland.; and his siblings, Alphonzo, Clarence Jackson and Alberta Johnson.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Melvin (Robert), Lisa Hall (Terrance) and Brian Jackson (Zena); his grandchildren, Sherelle, Sheree, Ryan, Jamel, Zeona, Zaona, Tyler, Andre, Brielle and Zarek; his great grandchildren, Rayshelle, Raymond, Rayana, Janae, Aiden, Myles, Alina and Benjamin "BJ"; his great great grandchild Naleyah; his sisters, Ethel Wilson and Mary Alice Young; his half-brother Theodore Jackson; his godson Clifton Johnson, Jr.; and his close friend Billie Jean Morris. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Ben remained an original and active member of this group until the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
