She was predeceased by : her parents, John Chapman and Eleanor Wills Chapman; and her husband John Spangler. She is survived by : her children, Herbert Ellis (Rebecca), Gary Ellis, Darlene Betancourt (Ivan) and Cheryl Papilon; and her brother John Chapman (Linda). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
