He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Baird and Mary Elizabeth Baird (Rathbun); and his sisters, Maryanne Hyverinen (Al) and Linda Nichols (John). He is survived by: his wife Carole Cleveland Flanigan; his sons, Stephen Baird of California and Joseph Baird of Texas; his stepsons, Michael Shriner of Hagerstown and Matthew Shriner of Clear Spring; his grandson Blake Baird of California; his niece Jeanette Clifton; his great-nieces and great-nephews, William and Lillianna of Pottstown; and his nephew Alexander Nichols.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Dr. Baird's name to Frederick County Hospice or to a charity of one's choice.
