He was predeceased by: his daughter Janet Kusterer; and his grandson Shawn Kusterer. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kathleen Hock (Kathie); his daughters, Patricia Gwilliam (David), Anne Eastlake (Micheal), Mary Alberthal (Justin) and Kathleen Spicer (Jason); his grandchildren, Jack Gwilliam (Tori), Katie Gwilliam, Christopher, Erin Eastlake, Elizabeth Alberthal, Kevin, Kelly, Kaitlyn, Kortney, Kristen, Kinley and Kora Spicer Matthew Kusterer (Abi); and his pet Lady.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Poplar Springs Catholic Church (1125 St Michaels Rd, Mt Airy, MD 21771). A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 1121 St Michaels Rd, Mt Airy, MD 21771. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:15 PM at the St. Michael Poplar Springs Catholic Church (1125 St Michaels Rd, Mt Airy, MD 21771).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
