He is survived by : his wife Diane Edith Ashelford (Krautler); his children, Edward Michael Ashelford, Jr. of Bumpass, VA, James Robert Ashelford (Fe) of Rockville, MD and Carol Lynn Ashelford of New Windsor, MD; his sibling Shirley Wanciak; and his grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler and Jennifer.
