She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Abel and Mary Abel; and her sister Mary Ellen Beyer (Bob). She is survived by: her husband Ken Sevier; her children, Chris DeBoy (Alissa), Paul DeBoy (Paul Dawson), Ann Mancha (David), Todd Sevier (Suzanne) and Brandon Sevier (Jenn); her grandchildren, Sam, Jack Mancha, Saoirse, Patrick DeBoy, Shannon and Owen Sevier; and her brother Charles Abel (Frannie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory (1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at the Mount Olive United Methodist Church (2927 Gillis Falls Rd, Mt Airy, MD 21771).
