With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Glenn D. Leahy of Mount Airy, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Glenn left this world on April 22, 2024 at the age of 68, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As Glenn departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Glenn may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Glenn leaves behind.

He was predeceased by : his parents, William Leahy and Jeanette Leahy. He is survived by : his wife Vicky Mayes Leahy; and his brothers, Mark, Barry, Neal and Guy Leahy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory (1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren (13356 Glissans Mill Rd, Mt Airy, MD 21771).
