It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Sidney Fugitt of Mount Airy, Maryland, born in Woodstock, Virginia, who passed away on August 8, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Norvel S. Fugitt and Ida E. Markley Fugitt; his wife Frances M. Fugitt; his son Harold I. Fugitt; and his brother Fred Fugitt.

He is survived by : his son George Andrew Fugitt (Jennie) of Mt. Airy; his daughter-in-law Mia Fugitt of Dundalk; and his siblings, Ida Ruehl and George Fugitt. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
