It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hester Ethel Kemp of Mount Airy, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on December 3, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard F. Baublitz and Alice Mae Bosley Baublitz; her husband Vernon Lee Kemp; her siblings, Lester Baublitz, Nicholas Baublitz, Leonard Baublitz, LaRue Good and Edna Baublitz; and her grandchildren, Teresa A. Kemp and Brian L. Kemp.

She is survived by : her son Vernon C. Kemp (Evelyn); her grandson Vernon C. Kemp; her daughter Carrie L. Kelchner (Tom); and her grandchildren, Ryan T. Kelchner and Sarah N. Kelchner.
