The memory of Jane Mongold Rogers of Mount Airy, Maryland, who passed away on August 20, 2025 at the age of 88, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Roy N. Rogers and Charles S. Mongold; and her parents, Stewart Gordon Cook and Margaret King Cook. She is survived by: her sister Margaret Stimeling (Paul) of Vero Beach, FL; her children, Douglas D. Mongold (Teresa) of Frederick, MD, David G. Mongold of New Windsor, MD and Kathryn K. Swope (David) of New Windsor, MD; her stepdaughter Tammy Prosser of Lake George; her grandchildren, Thomas Mongold (Erin), Cortney Meadowcroft (Peter), Aja Mongold (Lester), Meagan Montonario (Ryan), Ashley Mongold and Samantha Mongold; her stepgrandchild Devon Ford; and her great grandchildren, Lincoln Marshall, Elena, Zane and Ella.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Mt. Airy (8 E Ridgeville Blvd, Mt Airy, MD 21771). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary United Methodist Church (403 S Main St, Mt Airy, MD 21771).
Memorial donations may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church or a charity of your choice in leu of flowers.
