She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Martin and Anna Kate Martin (Baker); her husband Roger Lee Lafferty; her son-in-law Bill Jenkins; her siblings, James Martin and Ruth Martin Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Steven Smith and Marjorie Martin.

She is survived by: her daughters, Laura Beall (David), Kelli Jenkins and Christina Smith (Leroy); her grandchildren, Miriah Messinger (Josh), Ava Jenkins, Olivia Jenkins and Wyatt Smith; her great grandchildren, Aurora Messinger and Payson Messinger; her brother Robert Martin; her sister-in-law Connie Sloniger (John); her friend June VonEiff; and her daughter Janet. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
