He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bauer and Dora Bauer (Pfeiffer); and his wife Madeline "Dolly" Bauer (Zeman). He is survived by: his children, Howard C. Bauer (Robin) of Rock Hall and Laura B. Gillis (Joe) of Mount Airy; and his grandchildren, John R. Bauer, Julie M. Gillis and Samantha K. Gillis (Timothy M. Nelson).
