He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry C. "Bill" Krantz, Jr. and Ruth E. Krantz (Day); his daughter Debra K. Krantz; his wife Thelma M. Lindsay; and his uncle Joseph R. Krantz.
He is survived by: his son Ken Krantz, Jr. (Judy) of Crownsville; his son-in-law William B. Steward of Sterling, VA; his grandsons, Joseph Krantz, Adam Krantz and Patrick Steward; his stepgrandsons, Jess Jacobson (Anna) and Seth Jacobson; his stepgreat-grandsons, Rowan and Kiernan; his sister Beverly Richardson; his brother-in-law Alex Lindsay (Sue); his niece Julia Inestroza (Jorge); his great-niece Laura Inestroza; and his close friend Malcolm McGilvery. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
