He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Pond and Edna Pond. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Pond; his children, Michael Knowlen Pond of Mt. Airy, MD, Erin Hogan of Westminster and Ryan Pond of Sykesville, MD.; his daughter-in-law Amy Pond; and his grandchildren, Allison, Emily Pond, Courtneigh Hogan and Louis Hogan V..
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory (1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery (11501 Garrison Forest Rd, Owings Mills, MD 21117).
