With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Lee Mackenzie of Mount Airy, Maryland, born in Lewisdale, Maryland, who passed away on March 23, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph S. Mackenzie, Jr.; and her parents, Roby S. Watkins and Margaret Catherine Watkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Terri Parrish (Jim) of Frederick, MD and Melanie Schmidt (David) of Mt. Airy, MD; her grandchildren, Amy Gregory of Waynesboro, PA, Karie Summers (Ryan) of Middletown, MD, Rachel Flavin (Walker) of Glenelg, MD, Joseph Schmidt (Stephanie) of Sykesville, MD and Anne Asbacher (Troy) of Sykesville, MD; her great grandchildren, Keenan Brown (Lily Cozart), Jalen Dorsey, Amaya Dorsey, Isaac Summers, Landen Summers, Brody Summers, Mackenzie Flavin, Patrick Flavin, Jack Flavin, Anthony Schmidt and Vincent Schmidt; and her great great grandchild Kaijah Brown.
