It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip R. Dorsey of Mount Airy, Maryland, who passed away on July 12, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Philip shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Philip farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grafton Day Dorsey and Louise McCracken Dorsey. He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Cliff Dorsey (Lisa) and Holly Jackson (Kevin); and his grandchildren, Josh, Derek, Craig and Sheridan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Mt. Airy (8 E Ridgeville Blvd, Mt Airy, MD 21771). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
