It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica A. Phelps of Mount Airy, Maryland, who passed away on May 9, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis J. Mauer and Virginia M Mauer (Murray); and her husband Willard Phelps (Pete). She is survived by: her sons, Edward Phelps and Donald Phelps; and her siblings, Louis Mauer (Dottie) and Linda Sullivan. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
