It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Hofmann of Mount Airy, Maryland, who passed away on August 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Wayne farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Wayne is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He is survived by: his wife Monta B. Hofmann; his children, Monta Carper (Mark) and Claire Parker (Justin); his grandchildren, Peyton, Hayley, Sydney, Eleanor and Lucy; his great grandchildren, Levi and Lincoln; and his sister Nancy DeLuca.
