He was predeceased by: his parents, John Emory Bowman and Kathryn Anna Folmer Bowman; and his wife Paula Catherine Armiger Bowman. He is survived by: his brother David Henry Bowman (Anne); his children, Janet Harding (Tony), Judy Welch (Sam) and John L. Bowman (Karen); and his grandchildren, Michelle Belt, Matthew Welch, Corey Rupertus (Shawn), Meghan Lowery (Jamie), Sierra Bowman and Cassidy Bowman. He is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
