He was predeceased by: his parents, Bracken Gilmore and Thyrza Gilmore (Jarrett); his brother Gerald "Jerry" Gilmore; his grandson Jesse Davis; and his son-in-law Scott Stonestreet.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Gilmore; his children, Joseph Gilmore (Carol), Andrew Gilmore (Karen), Karen Davis (John Ludeman), Colleen Calcamp (Jake), Kathie Shriver (Owen), Elisabeth Stonestreet and Caryl Spivey (Thomas); and his brothers, John Gilmore (Adeline) and Roy Gilmore (Mary). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
