He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hovatter and JoAnn Hovatter (Adams). He is survived by: his wife Shari Hovatter; his children, Misty Michaels (Craig) of Short Gap, WV, Keith Hovatter (Marcy) and Joey Hovatter (Monica); his grandchildren, Craig Michaels, Colton Michaels, Cassie Hovatter, Lainey Hovatter, Rylee Hovatter, Seth Arnone and Charisa Swinney; his siblings, Robert Hovatter (Brenda "Bunny") and Deborah Porter (Tyrone); his sisters-in-law, Karen Jones, Faye Jones (John) and Mary Davis (Jack); his close friend Tom Porter of Seaford, DE.; and his pet Cody. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends.
