He is survived by : his wife Carol Ann Thompson Dinning; his daughter Stacey Lynn; his son-in-law Steve Bittinger; his daughter Bobbi Jean Lawler; his grandchildren, Jessica E. Riggleman (Cory), Heather Nicole Bittinger, Destiny Marie Cordle (Jay) and Robert Lawler; his great grandchildren, Canyon Cordle, Brooklyn Cordle, Jaxson Giles, Rykar Morgan, Declan Doyle, Reagan Riggleman, Rozlyn Riggleman and Elijah Lawler; his nephews, Kevin (Stephanie), Chuck Thompson and David; his niece Kathy Thompson; and his great-nephews, Nick (Wasu) and Jack Thompson.
At his request, his body was donated to science.
