He is survived by: his wife Florence Juanita Shaffer (Alexander); his children, Scott Shaffer (Tammy) of Kearneysville, WV and Tracey Deckman (Wade) of Oakland, MD; and his grandsons, Troy A. Deckman (Annie Beckstrand) of Albuquerque, NM, Wyatt A. Deckman (Oni Francisco) and Matthew S. Shaffer of Kearneysville, WV..
