He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Ellis and Jane Ellis; and his brother Michael Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Jenny; his children, Christina Ellis, Kelly Ellis-Neal (Bill), Casey Ellis (Robert), Ryan Morgan (Sarah) and Sarah Bussard (Clay); his grandchildren, William Neal, Jaxon Dunn, Cecilia Dunn, Brooks Bussard, Morgan Bussard and Olivia Morgan; his close friends, Ted, Gloria Bamforth, Kristi and Ben Stevenson; his pet Dutch; Elise, Kate, Lucas Makowski (Rebecca), Mia and Patrick James Makowski.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, December 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
