It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Ruth Savage of Nanjemoy, Maryland, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Dominick Appuglies and Ann Baravechia Appuglies; her siblings, Anthony Appuglies, Lydia Monte and MaryAnn Knowles; her former life partner Joseph Savage; and her son Joseph Dominick Savage.

She is survived by : her brother Sam Appuglies (Eileen); her children, Darlene Savage Van Valkenburg (David), Michael Savage (Ellen) and Robert Savage; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Van Valkenburg (Jason Abell), Christopher Van Valkenburg, Jack Savage and Matthew Savage.
