He is survived by: his daughter Betheina Carroll (Stanley); his siblings, Iretha Heard (Reese), Isadore Chisley, Mable Keys (Herman), Clystie Lee (Ann), Vivian Dent (Lynel) and Adolph; his sisters-in-law, Gloria Johnson-Washington and Shirley Carroll; his grandchildren, Derond and Derwin; his great great grandchildren, Der-Caribyah, Der-Rihanna, D'Monei, Zaki, Lamar and Jayquan; his aunt Ethel "Mickey" Tibbs; and his friend Stanley Tibbs. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
