He was predeceased by : his parents, George Burall and Charlotte Burall; and his siblings, Katherine Lashley, George Burall and Gladys Crowe.

He is survived by : his wife Frances; his sister Gloria "May" Powers; his children, Denise Martin (Tony), Brian Burall and Kyle Burall (Laurel); his grandchildren, Steven Philpott (Leslie), Ian Burall and Layla Burall; and his great grandchildren, Austin, Owen, Bonnie and Logan Philpott. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family has requested donations be sent to the Alzheimer's Foundation or Hospice of the Chesapeake in lieu of flowers.
