David H. Chang Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 15, 2025, at the age of 96, David H. Chang of New Market, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cha-Ping Chang and Shu-E Chang; and his son Dr. Edward K Chang. He is survived by: his wife Shu-Liang; his daughters, Eve Chang (Robert Chigi) of Flemington, NJ and Ellen Chang (Guy Zaybekian) of New Market, MD; his daughter-in-law Grace Ho-Chang of Vancouver, WA.; and his grandchildren, Ryan Zaybekian, Travis Chigi, Austin Chang, Jackie Zaybekian, Audrey Chang and Ashleigh Chigi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Frederick (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Johns Hopkins University Hospital Hackerman-Patz Patient and Family Pavilion in memory of David's son Dr Kuo-Shu Edward Chang. Expressions of sympathy may be offered to the family at StaufferFuneralHome.com.
