She was predeceased by : her father Elgie Proudfoot. She is survived by : her mother Velma Proudfoot (Moore); her former life partner Vincent Trost; her husband Frederick Metcalfe; her brother Bill Malloy of Winter Garden, FL; her children, Ellen Didion (Mike) of Millsboro, DE, V. Joseph Trost (Mary) of Baden, PA and Sue Johnson (Eddie) of Jefferson, MD.; her grandchildren, David Didion, Daniel Didion (Marley Pegler), Olivia Kirschenbaum (Jordan), Ruby Mae, Sarah Didion, Vince Trost, Tori Trost, Mikayla Trost and Matt Johnson; her sister-in-law Laura Trost; her friend Tom Mills; her son Joe; and also, Lauren King (Pat), Ashley Mason (Dan) and Steven Johnson (Brittany). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
