She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine E. Zile (Bentz) and Haven R. Zile; her siblings, Richard, Ruth Zile, Daniel and Patricia Zile; her siblings-in-law, Dennis Smith and Darlene; and her son Robbie Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Robert H. Smith; her grandchildren, Bethany Ziegler, Lukas Ziegler, Zachary Virtz (Karlie Bosley) and Kerri Root (Nik Root); and her niece Cindy Pivar.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
